ProClass
ProClass is a national procurement classification system for supplies, services, works and concessions contracts which can be used by organisation to help them understand their third party expenditure. It is tailored for use by local authorities.
ProClass was launched in 2006 and by 2020 had been adopted by 75% of local authorities in England. It is owned and developed by local government, although from October 2007 the management and maintenance of ProClass and its website has been passed to Coding International Ltd.
